Introducing Account Center
In developing Account Center we listened to developers across the Web3 ecosystem and took note of many of the reoccurring issues that arose. This led to our team developing new kinds of frontend libraries to address the problems seen across the ecosystem, such as needing a place to manage your wallet connection and related items like network, balance, and transaction history.
Account Center is our first new library to solve all these problems. Its features include:
- Multi-wallet and account management with balances
- Network management and support for all EVM networks
- Dapp info area for helpful guides and useful links
Account Center’s simple interface can be placed anywhere on your Dapp’s UI. It displays wallet connection, balance, and network information and can be expanded to manage each setting and connect multiple wallets.
Account Center allows end-users to connect all of their wallets to your Dapp and manage those connections, resulting in better UX and increased activity and engagement.

Simplifying the multi-chain future
By integrating Web3-Onboard with Account Center, developers can allow users to easily switch between networks and significantly simplifies on-ramping to Layer-2 protocols, which are increasingly leveraged for their speed and scalability.
Web3-Onboard supports all of the leading networks out of the box and enables developers to add custom RPCs for any EVM network, such as Arbitrum, Avalanche, BNB Chain, Celo, Ethereum, Fantom, Gnosis Chain, Harmony One, Moonriver, Optimism, and Polygon. When on the wrong network, Account Center will automatically direct end-users to the correct network for your Dapp.
Account Center also comes with a multichain design library that allows Dapp developers to show correct network iconography and branding for the networks they support.
We have added design support for Ethereum, Polygon, Fantom, BNB, Gnosis Chain, Optimism, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Celo, Harmony One, and other EVM networks. All EVM networks are supported at the technical level, but design representation for less common ones will be up to the developer to customize their initialization of web3-onboard.
Do I need to use Account Center to use Web3-Onboard?
Account Center is open-source and optional for Web3-Onboard users. It can be turned on or off from Web3-Onboard’s initialization options so Web3 developers can opt to only have the wallet connection modal if they prefer.
What is next for Web3-Onboard?
Moving forward, we plan to release additional libraries under Web3-Onboard that enhance UX in Dapps and maintain an easy-to-integrate developer experience.
